About Us

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is an initiative created by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), that provides specialised accommodation for individuals living with disabilities. SDA is designed to provide greater living independence for people with very high support needs.

SDA Life are a boutique, privately owned provider of high quality ‘High Physical Support’ homes who have a personal understanding of the unique needs for the occupants. Our properties have additional value-adds and specifications with the occupant’s comfort being front of mind.

SDA Life was founded on the ethos of serving the community, we believe that every person deserves to live life to the fullest. Our SDA dwellings have been carefully designed for those with additional needs to have a place to call home that has superior comfort and functionality. These homes have enhancements over and above the NDIS’s Category Standards specifications.

We are Perth locals and understand the unique requirements for properties in our city. We welcome the opportunity to discuss our designs and properties available.

Details of two of our SDA home designs are as follows:

ARCADIA – from the Greek myth, which refers to an abundant and idyllic place in harmony with nature
The street appeal of the ARCADIA three person home is just the start of its greatness. The Arcadia has everything designed into it, including the generous foyer entrance opening up into the main living areas. It’s easy to get lost around the house with its open space living and its 1200mm wide corridors. The alfresco includes a BBQ area, with all occupants rooms having direct access to outdoor courtyards.

MERAKI – from the Greek meaning to do something with complete passion and love and is usually associated with a creative endeavour.  The appeal of the MERAKI four person occupant home is the design layout where each occupant has their own private wing. The Meraki has all the features, including the separate foyer entrances opening up into main living areas, 1200mm wide corridors throughout and space for quiet time. The alfresco includes a BBQ area, with all occupants rooms having direct access to outdoor courtyards.
